Living Tree of Life (2012-)
Living sculpture, planted by willow. It will grow up many meters high, and will has an unnatural, geometrical form. It is a long-time project to show that I can do it better than Nature. Click to the picture for more photos and longer direction.
The Death of Babel (2011-)
This work has two periods - there is a longer description of the basic idea, if you click on the picture, it can be read.
But after I finished and exhibited it, I realized another meaning of this artwork. I did not use any frame to fix it just the willow, so it become a mortal work. I am (still) working on immortalizing the dying of the Tower of Babel (how the nature takes the natural materials back) by a photo series.
Sometimes I have a chance to continue my site-specific work method in the nature...
Nature Art
Cube (2012)
Land Art project. In the art workshop at Tihany, I cleaned a 3x3x3 m sized cube in a neglected forest. It is an attempt to show the human trace in the nature.
